WSP is looking for an Intermediate Transmission Line Engineer to join our Transmission & Distribution Electrical team in Edmonton or elsewhere in Western Canada. This role will allow you to harness your design expertise while contributing to essential projects that improve grid reliability and promote renewable energy usage. You will coordinate with teams to yield designs that meet rigorous standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design high-voltage transmission lines, ensuring reliability and safety
• Prepare technical documents and oversee compliance checks
• Manage timelines, budgets,



and client communications
• Perform quality reviews of engineering outputs
• Develop effective project strategies and solutions

Requirements:
• BS in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Physics
• Minimum 5 years of transmission line design experience
• Proficient in PLS-CADD and project management tools
• Must hold a P.Eng. designation
• Familiarity with field program planning and construction bid packages is a plus
