The City of Burnaby is seeking a Dispatch Operator for the Laurel Street Works Yard on an auxiliary basis. You will receive and relay telephone and radio messages, respond to public inquiries, and connect callers with the appropriate department or individual.
You will also relay information, handle complaints and emergency information, verify visitor credentials, issue passes, monitor CCTV, perform security checks, and support daily operations with dispatch records and standard software tools.
