What You'll Do

Manage preparation, filing, and reporting of direct and indirect taxes and multinational tax disclosures to ensure compliance

Develop and implement strategies to optimize tax positions and integrate tax considerations into business decisions

Implement enhancements to tax technology

Conduct tax research and maintain thorough documentation of tax issues and compliance positions

Mentor existing tax team, manage communications with stakeholders

Handle day to day tax inquiries, disputes, and audits

What You Have

Minimum 7 years' experience with at least 5 years exposure to International Taxation is required.

CPA designation, with completion of In-Depth Income Tax courses (or Masters degree in Taxation).

Experience in a role with substantial Canadian and US Tax exposure and proficiency in tax provision and tax compliance working paper modelling

Extensive knowledge of global tax issues pertaining to large multinational companies and IFRS tax accounting standards

Thetypical hiring range for this position is $116,000 - $160,000 annually complemented by a bonus plan; the base pay is determined by market location and job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
