Whatyou'llbe doing:
You willdevelopskills and knowledgethrough hands-on learning, mentoring and 2–3 rotations that provide exposureto different departmentsacrossourbusiness.
Through the programmeyou’llhaveopportunities to:
Build technical,operational,andcommercialcapability.
Receive mentoring and development support.
Learn fromindustryexperts– developingmeaningful qualified networks.
Participate andjoin inindustry events.
Starting in January 2027,you'llcomplete a minimum of 2 workrotations withina 12 –18-monthcontractin the following departments.
Build an understanding of coolstoreand packhouseoperations, inventory management,logistics, qualitystandards,and the systems that support the delivery of the world-class apples around the globe.
Orchards
Experiencegrowing applesand learn about the systems,
technology andexpertiseinvolvedfrom redevelopment andcropmanagement throughto harvest.
Wider Business Exposure
Gaininsight into howbusiness support servicescontributeto the success ofourbusiness.Meetthepeople,contribute toprojects,andlearn how different experiences and rolescanshape asuccessfulcareerwithin horticulture.
Whatyou'llbring:

Completed aminimum of aDiploma orbachelor's degreein 2026in a subject relevant to horticulture
Strong communicationskills, comfortable working in a team and autonomously
High attention to detail andeye forquality
Youarewilling to work both indoors and outdoors
Own accommodation and transport (minimum of restricted licence) in Hawke’s Bay
You have the right to work in New Zealand and are available for either 12 or 18-months contract
