We are hiring an experienced Operations Specialist / Senior Operations Specialist to join a leading Capital Markets Operations team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in Global Equity Clearing & Settlements , trade operations , and Canadian/US capital markets , looking to step into a senior individual contributor role with leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Manage Global/Foreign Equity Clearing & Settlement activities across CDS, DTC, and international markets

Resolve complex trade settlement issues and minimize settlement breaks

Support daily operations across Canadian, US, and Global Markets

Act as the senior operational lead and backup to the Associate Director

Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiency





Collaborate with internal teams, offshore partners, and external stakeholders

Must-Have Skills

5+ years of experience in Global Equity Clearing & Settlements

Strong knowledge of Equity Trade Operations and post-trade processing

Experience with Broadridge , CDS , DTC , and global settlement platforms

Hands-on experience supporting Canadian & US Capital Markets

Prior experience leading or mentoring operations teams (Team Lead/Senior Operations)

Strong understanding of settlement breaks, reconciliations, and risk controls

Nice to Have

Exposure to Euroclear, BNP, BPS, Arrow

Experience leveraging AI/Copilot for operational improvements
