We are currently seeking experienced Fire Watch Attendants to support our production teams and help maintain a safe working environment throughout our shipyard and manufacturing facilities.
About The Role The Fire Watch Attendant plays a critical role in supporting hot work activities, maintaining safe work areas, and ensuring compliance with company safety procedures during yacht construction and refit projects.
This is a full-time, year-round position offering stable, long-term employment in an indoor production environment.

Opportunity to work on some of the world's finest custom yachts.
Key Responsibilities Monitor hot work activities including welding, cutting, and grinding operations
Maintain a safe work environment and identify potential fire hazards
Conduct regular inspections of surrounding work areas during and after hot work activities
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures
Respond appropriately in emergency situations
Communicate effectively with tradespeople, supervisors, and project teams
Qualifications & Experience Previous Fire Watch experience required
Strong understanding of construction or industrial safety practices
Ability to remain attentive and focused for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented
Comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment
Assets Occupational First Aid certification.
Confined Space Entry certification.
Experience supporting welding or other hot work operations.
Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and monitor areas for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry firefighting equipment as required
Comfortable working in industrial environments, including confined or elevated spaces
Work Environment Shop and shipyard environments
Exposure to noise, heat, dust, and mechanical hazards
Overtime or shift work may be required based on operational needs
