Bronswerk manages the entire process, from design to commissioning, installation and in-service support.

What will be your role?

Reporting to ISS Director, the Lifecycle Material Management Technician will work with the In-Service-Support Team in supporting our customers with Spare Parts requests. In the role of Lifecycle Material Management Technician, you will resolve issues with products under warranty by performing diagnostics, failure analysis, and coordinate the replacement of the defective parts.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for sourcing and coordinating sales of spare parts for all Bronswerk Marine & Offshore projects .

Provide customer service to meet their spare parts needs, in accordance with BMI’s parts protocols and processes.

Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical engineering drawings.

Research and identify alternative spare parts, if spare parts are obsolete, to match and fit and meeting client specification requirements.

Review and manage all incoming warranty claims following Bronswerk Warranty Claim Procedures.

Ensures that drawings are current (modified where needed by Engineering staff).

Build relationships with customers by providing helpful and friendly service.





Communicates with vendors documentation requirements and assembles packages as per customer needs.

Ensures supporting documents for invoicing is provided to the Finance Department to maximize positive cash flow

Lead effort to ensure equipment documentation is up to date.

Provide shop and subcontractor support including, but not limited to:

Issuing purchase orders for spare parts;

Document verifications;

Ensure quality documentation is carried out and documented;

Interacting with Client staff as required, to achieve material acceptance.

Which candidate profile are we looking for?

5- 7 years of experience in a manufacturing or repair environment

Mechanical Engineering Technical Diploma (College Degree) or equivalent work experience

Overhaul/repair shop experience (an asset)

Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Robust interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships

Exposure to project, cost and schedule management is a plus

Possess excellent judgement and professional maturity

Knowledge of Military Standards, an asset

Excellent problem-solving skills and solid mechanical assembly know-how

Ability to gain a Canadian security clearance (Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident) and controlled goods is required.
