Role: Maintenance Technician
Location: Vancouver
Hours: 12 hours shift, 3 days OR nights a week. Weekly rotation

What You’ll Do

Inspections, Preventive & Planned Maintenance: Assess and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical equipment. Fix defects and perform corrective tasks based on inspection results.

Flag potential issues early and suggest long-term solutions.

Operates within maintenance, with a focus on execution of preventive and corrective maintenance.

Prevent any malfunction of the equipment, apparatus, machinery or systems that are used in the production process.

Participating in complex maintenance projects.

Malfunctions & Emergency Repairs: Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures, evaluate severity and determine repair urgency, perform hands-on repairs and consult with supervisors when needed

Modifications & Upgrades: Execute overhaul and modification work per instructions, recommend improvements based on your experience and technical insight

Knowledge of EAM, for maintenance operations, contractors' management and root cause analysis

Who We’re Looking For

Millwright or formal education or qualification in field of maintenance and mechanical, including a bachelor's degree or diploma, along with relevant experience in the manufacturing field or engineering industry.

At least 10+ years of solid background in manufacturing with experience in production and maintenance management

Previous experience in the industrial maintenance and

Ability to work in 12 hours shift, 3 days/nights a week. Weekly rotation.

Ability to bent, twist, lift and carry- 5 to 10 kgs of weight occasionally

Robust manufacturing background with experience in maintenance

Attention to detail with good data analysis skills
