About the Job:
Vista Radio has an immediate opening for a full time General Sales Manager , based in Lethbridge, AB .
What you’ll do
Develop and execute sales strategies that achieve revenue targets and drive market growth
Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the local sales team through hiring, training, performance management, and ongoing support
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, agencies, and community partners
Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to grow market share
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth
Develop a strong understanding of the radio and digital advertising landscape,



including emerging technologies and industry trends
Work collaboratively with Programming, Promotions, Production, and other departments to deliver successful client campaigns
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and revenue updates for senior leadership
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
Coordinate advertising schedules to ensure campaigns are delivered as promised
Lead and actively participate in sales meetings, providing direction, coaching, and motivation to the team
Represent Vista Radio at community events, industry functions, and networking opportunities
Other duties as assigned
What You Bring
Minimum five (5) years of sales management experience within the radio industry
Strong knowledge of radio advertising, digital marketing solutions, and consultative sales techniques
Demonstrated success building and maintaining long-term client and agency relationships
Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute revenue growth plans
Strong analytical, organizational,



and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple priorities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as operational needs require
