WHAT YOU’LL DO

Developtheoffering,action planand budget for banquets, meetings andevents, aswellasfoodandbeverageoperations, toensureprofitabilityandsmoothoperations.

Participatein thehotel’sannualstrategicplanningmeetingwiththe leadershipteam.

Recruit,welcome, train, coach anddevelopdepartmentemployees,whileeffectivelymanagingperformance.

Planstaffingneedsandprovidetheteamwithasafeandenjoyableworkenvironmentthroughregularcommunication,includingleadingmeetings andcollaboratingwithotherdepartments, aswellasthrougheffectiveinventoryandequipmentmanagement.

Ensurequalityandmaintainstandardsrelatedto production, service andguestsatisfaction.

Overseebothservice and production as oneunifiedteam.





Maintainan active and visiblepresenceon thefloorto support theteam,ensuresmoothservice andrespondquicklywhenoperationalneedsarise.

Take an activeroleinoperationsduringpeakperiods,eventsand key service times.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

A minimum of fiveyearsofexperienceinamanagementrole.

Strongskillsineventplanning andenhancingserviceofferings,alongwithexcellent time andresourcemanagementabilities.

Anoutgoingpersonalityand an attitudethatisbothdynamicandprofessional.

Ademonstratedabilityto lead and supportteamsthroughawiderange of situations.

A hands-on leadership style,withagenuinedesiretobepresentwiththeteamandactivelycontributetooperations.

Knowledge and application ofemploymentstandards, basichealthandsafetyprinciples, andfoodhygieneandsanitationrequirements.

Strong leadershipabilitiesand excellent communicationskills.

Availabilitytoworka flexibleschedule,includingeveningsand weekends,basedonoperationalandeventneeds.

Bilingualismisconsideredan asset due to the nature of theroleand interactionswithEnglish-speakingcolleagues,partnersor clientsacrossCanada.
