Job Summary
Are you organized, detail-oriented, and looking to grow your career in compliance and security administration? We’re seeking a Coordinator I – Compliance to support important compliance-related activities, maintain accurate documentation, and help ensure adherence to company and government requirements.

In this role, you’ll provide administrative and coordination support to the compliance function, helping to keep processes running smoothly and efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, managing records, supporting internal stakeholders, and contributing to a mission-driven team environment.

The role reports on site to either our Bedford, NS or Kanata, ON offices and participates in a hybrid work environment. It is a collaborative role that requires adaptability, teamwork and a commitment to high work standards. The salary range for this position is listed at $62,000-$79,000 depending on qualifications and experience.

As Compliance Coordinator, you’ll be responsible to:

Perform a variety of routine administrative and coordination activities in support of the compliance function

Gather, collect, record, track, and verify data and information from multiple sources





Compile, review, and analyze information to support department needs

Use software tools to generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence, and presentations

Prepare letters, reports, and other materials

File documents with appropriate entities in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements

Develop and maintain organized filing and recordkeeping systems

Serve as a source of information on organizational policies and procedures

Assist with the administration of contracts or subcontracts

Support aspects of Department of Defense, Department of Energy, or other industrial security programs

Help ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures that are non-IT related

Provide information and support to others regarding functional processes and procedures

Contribute to process improvements that enhance workflow and efficiency

Support and reinforce the mission, values, and culture of the organization

To be successful in the role you’ll need:

High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work with data, records and reports

Interest in compliance, contracts administration or industrial security programs

Good verbal and written communication skills





Knowledge of general office procedures

Ability to work well as part of a team

Ability to listen effectively and respond professionally to internal and external stakeholders

Flexibility and willingness to shift between projects and priorities as needed
