What does your role involve?
Hiring, training and managing the brigade’s schedules
Supervising and evaluating team members
Managing conflicts and maintaining a good work climate
Daily inspection and rigorous application of MAPAQ standards
Developing and managing menus
Implementing kitchen policies and procedures
Analyzing reports and developing action plans
Delegating and coordinating operations
Preparing budgets and controlling costs
Managing orders, inventory and supply
Negotiating with suppliers
Purchasing and maintaining equipment
Required qualifications
5 to 8 years of kitchen experience, including significant experience in supervision and management
DEP, DEC or AEC in cooking
MAPAQ certification (preferred)
Leadership, creativity and strategic thinking
Autonomy, initiative and versatility
Stress tolerance and dynamism
Proficiency in English is required due to regular interactions with an international clientele
