Join the established team at Lake Shore Gold as a full-time Mine Technician in Timmins, Ontario. This role offers a blend of professional development and practical underground experience.
As a Mine Technician, you will focus on designing drill patterns and assisting with ventilation surveys in an exciting mining environment. With Monday-Friday shifts or a rotating schedule, you will ensure the safety and efficiency of operations while collaborating closely with engineers and other technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design drill patterns for production blasting
• Assist in borehole surveys and fragmentation studies
• Conduct ventilation surveys and troubleshoot compliance
• Update and manage underground surveying tasks
• Perform regular underground inspections
Requirements:
• Completion of a Mine Technician or Tech degree
• At least two years of relevant underground experience
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Deswik software preferred
• Must be eligible to work in Canada
