RailWorks is hiring a Signal Construction Assistant to support essential railway operations in all weather conditions. This physically demanding role offers valuable field experience.

As a Signal Construction Assistant, you will report directly to the Signal Supervisor and assist on projects and maintenance. Your responsibilities include general labor, using equipment, and ensuring tools are ready for use. Previous experience in a field setting is a must, promoting a safe work culture.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform a variety of labor tasks essential to projects
• Keep tools and equipment maintained and operational
• Support special duties as per supervisor's instructions
• Work closely with Signal Maintainers to meet project goals




• Adhere to safety practices for live track work

Requirements:
• 1-2 years in field electrical or similar roles
• Required to hold a valid G driver’s license
• Experience in construction or farm settings essential
• Ability to work with and repair small engines
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operations is beneficial
