Become a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Insight Medical Imaging, working evenings and weekends in Edmonton, Alberta. Deliver critical imaging services while ensuring patient comfort and diagnostic accuracy.
This full time role rotates among seven clinics in the Edmonton area. You will manage hot lab equipment, prepare patient doses, and conduct various Nuclear Medicine procedures. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct quality control on gamma cameras and radiopharmaceuticals
• Manage isotopes and supply orders for the department
• Prepare and administer patient doses with precision
• Interview patients and supervise cardiac stress test recovery
• Assist in Nuclear Medicine scans and cardiac stress procedures
Requirements:
• Certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods needed
• Current CPR certification is a must
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic Nuclear Medicine practices
• Clinical competency in medical Nuclear Medicine required
• Dedication to adhering to imaging quality control standards
