Become a vital part of Magna’s team as a Tool and Die Technician focusing on maintenance and modifications of automotive tooling. This position blends engineering skills with hands-on technical work.

Magna is looking for a proficient Tool and Die Technician to maintain and repair equipment while supporting tooling modifications. This role requires reading engineering specifications and performing continuous quality improvements. Ideal candidates will possess at least a Grade 12 diploma and a Tool and Die or Mould Maker Certificate, along with relevant industrial experience to excel in this agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair tooling, ensuring specifications are met
• Conduct quality testing on new and repair tools




• Monitor Key Performance Indicators for safety and quality
• Implement preventative maintenance programs
• Assist in tool modifications according to FEC procedures

Requirements:
• Tool and Die Certificate of Qualification or Mould Maker Certificate
• Grade 12 diploma
• Preferred two years’ experience as an Industrial Journeyman
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively during shifts
