As a key member of the Community and Mental Health team, the Community Nutritionist is responsible for clinical nutrition program development and implementation. Individual counseling for chronic disease management is a primary duty, along with managing community-centric food programs and initiatives. Your role includes collaboration with a Dietetic Aide to foster community engagement and support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement nutrition programs for clients
• Conduct individual counseling on special diets
• Lead community nutrition group sessions and programs
• Work with a Dietetic Aide for smooth program delivery
• Engage in chronic disease management initiatives

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Human Nutrition
• Nova Scotia Dietitian license in valuable standing
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with diverse nutrition approaches
• Experience with communities facing systemic challenges
