Become a crucial part of Dexterra Group as a Transit Cleaner, delivering exceptional cleanliness across York's public transit stations while enjoying stable full-time hours.

In this role with Dexterra Group, you’ll maintain high cleanliness standards at transit stations, contributing to positive customer experiences. You will work five shifts a week, providing essential services including cleaning, replenishing supplies, and using specialized equipment to ensure safety and hygiene for passengers. This permanent position offers the opportunity to grow in a supportive, diverse work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Disinfect station areas including entrances and platforms
• Perform regular cleaning of high-touch surfaces




• Replenish and maintain washroom supplies
• Operate cleaning equipment such as auto-scrubbers
• Report issues pertaining to cleanliness and safety

Requirements:
• Proven cleaning/janitorial experience preferred
• Attention to detail with strong English communication skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks comfortably
• Capability to lift up to 25 lbs when necessary
• Must pass a clear criminal background check
