In this role, you will collaborate with a skilled interprofessional team to offer specialized care for cardiac and vascular surgical patients. Ongoing professional development, participation in quality improvement activities, and supervision of students will highlight your contributions to best practices in physiotherapy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and treat postoperative cardiac surgery patients
• Participate in evaluative processes using validated outcome measures
• Supervise and educate physical therapy students effectively




• Recommend follow-up for community and rehabilitation resources
• Contribute to operational committees within the Schulich Heart Program

Requirements:
• M.Sc.PT or relevant degree
• Registered in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
• Experience in cardiovascular patient care is beneficial
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association preferred
