Join the University of Saskatchewan as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for PLSC 335. Facilitate learning by assisting students in lab and lecture environments this Fall term 2026.

In this Teaching Assistant role, you will provide valuable support to students enrolled in the Plant Science course, contributing significantly to their understanding of field crop disease management. Key duties include demonstrating plant disease identification, marking student assessments, and consulting on course material under the guidance of Dr. H.R. Kutcher, all within a energetic academic community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist students in identifying symptoms of plant diseases
• Grade assignments and oral presentations




• Provide informative consultations to enhance understanding
• Supervise midterm and final examinations with integrity
• Collaborate with the course instructor as required

Requirements:
• B.Sc. degree in Biological Sciences or equivalent
• Must be registered in a graduate program
• Teaching experience encouraged, not mandatory
• Commitment to 50 hours throughout the term
• Excellent communication and consultation skills
