Be a part of DEW Engineering and Development as a Welder II, focusing on high-quality manufacturing processes and advanced welding techniques. Safety and precision are key in this role.
As a Welder II, you will report to the Welding Supervisor and apply your skills to fabricate products to exact specifications. Your responsibilities will include setting up fabrication fixtures, interpreting and following blueprints, and inspecting assemblies during production. Moreover, you will assist in training new team members and handle basic departmental functions using the manufacturing computer system.
Key Responsibilities:
• Fabricate and assemble products to stringent specifications
• Set up fixtures and perform inspections for quality assurance
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings effectively
• Maintain welding machines and perform necessary repairs
• Provide guidance and training for new welding staff
Requirements:
• 5+ years of welding experience, with direct MIG and TIG experience for at least 3 years
• Preferred post-secondary education as a Welder/Fitter
• MIG Aluminum/Steel certification (CWB) beneficial
• Experience with production equipment and high-volume settings
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and specifications
