The City of London is seeking energetic individuals for full-time firefighter roles within the London Fire Department. Ideal candidates will engage in various duties, including firefighting, managing emergency rescues, and providing public education on fire safety. Participation in special operational teams is also a key responsibility of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Actively respond to emergency situations and alarms
• Perform fire extinguishment and equipment maintenance
• Render emergency medical assistance when needed
• Participate in water recovery and rescue efforts
• Assist in training current firefighters on the job
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent proof
• IFSAC/ProBoard certification in Firefighter Level 1 & 2
• Ontario Class D driver’s license with Z endorsement
• Current First Aid, CPR & AED certification
• Completion of OFAI Candidate Testing Services
