Gyptech is seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our Oakville manufacturing team. Utilize your expertise in all positions of welding to drive innovation in wallboard equipment solutions.

As a Welder/Fitter at Gyptech, you will interpret blueprints and specifications to perform precise welding on different materials. Your role will encompass developing templates, adhering to CWB welding standards, and ensuring all materials meet safety regulations. Robust decision-making and problem-solving skills are essential as you contribute to a team dedicated to high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints for component layout
• Follow safe CWB welding procedures
• Develop work aids for welding processes




• Inspect and prep materials for welding
• Assist in component assembly tasks

Requirements:
• Certification as a Fitter-Welder (437A)
• Experience in GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW welding methods
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor a must
• Strong English communication skills
• Capability of lifting 50lbs and hold a valid driver’s license
