This residency role in the Faculty of Arts is perfect for those with a background in Indigenous knowledge and engagement. As you pursue your projects, you'll also inspire the KPU community through events and collaborations. Your work will amplify Indigenous voices in areas such as governance, health, and the arts, making a significant impact on-campus culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and lead creative events for KPU’s community
• Conduct guest lectures to share your expertise
• Consult with aspiring writers and artists biweekly
• Meet regularly with the Faculty of Arts leadership
• Encourage interdisciplinary ideas among departments
Requirements:
• Community-based background in Indigenous traditions
• At least one published work required for writers
• Active involvement in your creative discipline
• Solid interest in connecting with diverse talents
• Must be able to travel between campuses
