Embark on a rewarding career as a Lab Technical Assistant at LifeLabs, Canada's leading diagnostic services provider. In this casual role, you'll be integral in preparing specimens and performing testing procedures.

As a Lab Technical Assistant, you'll join LifeLabs' dedicated team, working flexible shifts up to 37.5 hours per week. Key responsibilities include specimen handling, conducting both manual and automated tests, and maintaining lab equipment under the supervision of a Medical Laboratory Technologist. Your strong communication and problem-solving skills will be vital in collaborating across diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Receive and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
• Perform tests under medical supervision




• Manage inquiries from staff and clients
• Maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
• Contribute to workflow improvement efforts

Requirements:
• High school diploma with some science background
• Previous laboratory experience is an asset
• Detail-oriented and able to work collaboratively
• Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office
• Commitment to safety and patient confidentiality
