This position is ideal for legal professionals with a minimum of three years of experience. You will work with the Conflicts Assessment and Matter Analysis Team (CAMAT) to assess conflicts and support legal processes. Expect a busy setting where your advanced judgment and technology skills will be crucial for achieving effective resolutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Construct ethical screens to manage conflicts effectively
• Perform conflict searches across diverse Canadian offices
• Analyze new clients and matters for potential conflicts
• Negotiate straightforward conflicts with UK team
• Assist in revising the conflicts assessment process
Requirements:
• Community college diploma and three years in legal sector
• Strong interest in technology with advanced computer skills
• Excellent research and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Bilingual in French may be required
