Be impactful with the Toronto Star Children's Charities as a Program & Development Associate under a 16-month contract. Focus on driving fundraising and enhancing community support through effective communication.

In this role, you'll work closely with the Senior Manager to shape strategic initiatives and improve donor relations. You'll also oversee community fundraising, engage volunteers, and maintain the charity's social media presence. Your expertise will help facilitate seamless program support for initiatives like the Santa Claus Fund.

Key Responsibilities:
• Shape and execute strategic fundraising initiatives
• Serve as liaison with event organizers for community fundraising
• Develop engaging thank-you letters and newsletters




• Support grant applications and database integrity tasks
• Manage volunteer recruitment and training efforts

Requirements:
• Certificate in Fundraising Management or equivalent
• 2-3 years’ experience with fundraising and charities
• Proficiency in database management, especially RE NXT
• Robust analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
