In this role at Seabird Island near Agassiz, BC, you will work under the Recovery Home Supervisor to support residents impacted by addiction. You’ll ensure residents access essential health and support services while addressing their specific challenges. Your expertise will help integrate traditional knowledge into recovery practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead development of individual wellness strategies
• Manage referrals for counseling and education services
• Coordinate essential resources such as health care and housing
• Evaluate resident challenges regarding addiction and trauma
• Facilitate addiction recovery and peer support group sessions
Requirements:
• Diploma in social sciences or comparable background
• At least 3 years of relevant case management experience
• Understanding of Indigenous cultural contexts
• Required certifications in First Aid and crisis intervention
• Valid driver’s license for community transportation
