Become a Detention Guard with our unique not-for-profit security team. This role offers both on-call and part-time shifts throughout Vancouver Island, focusing on the safety of individuals in custody.

As a Detention Guard, you will report to the Client Service Manager and work collaboratively with RCMP members. Your responsibilities will include overseeing prisoner activities and organizing essential services such as meals. This role provides a chance for advancement in a commitment-driven workplace, tailored to a variety of lifestyles, including students and parents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor prisoners using CCTV and direct observation
• Maintain cleanliness of detention cells
• Record and log all prisoner activities
• Conduct searches before and after cell occupancy
• Assist with medication dispensing as directed

Requirements:
• First Aid Level 1 certification mandatory
• Must secure RCMP Reliability Clearance
• Strong English communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Physically capable of standard duties
