As part of Cando’s leadership team, you will report to the Chief Legal Officer. This role requires substantial expertise in risk assessment and insurance strategies, where you will develop programs to mitigate risks inherent to rail operations. By liaising with various departments, you will play a crucial part in fostering a protected and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of risk management programs across the enterprise
• Manage workers’ compensation claims with HR and Service Delivery
• Prepare loss analyses and budgets while updating compliance procedures




• Establish internal risk management protocols with stakeholders
• Deliver training programs to enhance risk awareness

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or related area
• Proven experience managing risk and insurance programs
• Familiarity with rail industry standards and compliance laws
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
• Effective relationship-building with brokers and insurers
