We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Maintenance Manager! This role is based at our facility in Langley, BC and reports to the Plant Manager. Job Summary
As Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will support the daily functions of the Maintenance department. In addition, they will provide technical support & expertise on equipment and building maintenance projects including installation, design & costing. Principal Responsibilities
Oversee the functions related to maintenance, engineering, and plant projects Monitor & schedule maintenance activities for plant equipment & the building Develop, implement & maintain a preventative maintenance program that will maximize the productivity of the equipment/tooling Manage the capital budget expenditures for the facility as they relate to the maintenance department Analyze job costing and material reports and review financial records to ensure projects are in line with the budget Source new process equipment and materials, research benchmarking of recent processes for continuous improvement to meet changing needs Monitor and manage the energy control, live work and working at heights programs including developing & reviewing work instructions Maintain contractor management program and act as an onsite project supervisor to contractors, third parties or employees for projects to run according to schedule and prepare progress reports Maintain accurate and up to date reference manuals and materials for all equipment & machinery Qualifications & Experience
Degree/Diploma in a technical field,
