Location: Winnipeg. Employer: Misericordia Health Centre. Work Arrangement: In Person. Anticipated Start Date: 09/21/2026. Anticipated End Date: 09/20/2027. FTE: 1.00. Anticipated Shift: Days. Annual Base Hours: 2015.

Position Overview
The Clinical & Quality Initiatives Coordinator is a member of the Provincial Health Contact Centre (PHCC) Clinical Team reports to a Manager of the Provincial Health Contact Centre. The quality coordinator’s responsibilities include inspecting materials, processes, implementing management actions, and contributing to the development of policies and procedures. Supports quality and educational programs for existing and emerging programs, both clinical and health-related. Responsibility includes providing the tools and acts as a resource for the Managers to achieve PHCC programs objectives and standards. Identify broad program issues and service needs, developing and coordinating the response. Responsible for clinical review including call recordings, of clinical protocols and health education documents in alignment with most current evidence-based practices that meets the standards for Manitoba.

Experience

Over five (5) years’ experience working in protocol-driven, health workplace with an emphasis on customer service, quality management, and operational and clinical excellence.

Strong clinical knowledge and experience is required to assess quality of call recording.

Working knowledge of primary care and the health care system in Manitoba is essential.





Experience developing and enhancing information systems to ensure operational and clinical excellence.

Experience assimilating data from multiple sources, analyzing and making recommendations related to education, quality and operations to resolve issues and improve clinical and allied health operations.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

Current registration with CRNM required.

Master's of Nursing an asset.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the Employer policy.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

Current registration with CRNM required.

Qualifications And Skills

Proven ability to understand technology and assess applications to determine quality and educational impacts to improve contact centre operations.





Knowledge and experience working with project management techniques.

Significant experience working with Microsoft Office and related products.

Physical Requirements

Fast-paced, rapidly changing environment in maintaining and ensuring timely updates to health care information and resources in ensuring appropriate service delivery is met provincially.

This term position may end earlier as outlined in your employee handbook.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
