Description Financial Operations within Finance is currently seeking a Full-time Regular Corporate Card Administrator.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Accounts Payable, the Corporate Card Administrator administers the University's Corporate Card Program and supports effective payment processes, financial stewardship, and compliance across the institution. The role provides subject matter expertise, operational support, and program administration for corporate card activities, ensuring cardholder services, financial controls, policy compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives are delivered effectively. The position works collaboratively with faculty, staff, suppliers, banking partners, and internal stakeholders in a complex and decentralized environment.
Summary of Key Responsibilities Administer the University's Corporate Card program, including card issuance, maintenance, profile updates, spending limit changes, and card cancellations.
Manage cardholder administration within banking and University systems.
Monitor corporate card activity and support related payment administration processes.
Investigate and resolve cardholder inquiries, transaction issues, reconciliations, and system exceptions.
Apply and maintain financial controls, audit requirements, and policy compliance related to corporate card activities.
Monitor restricted purchases, policy exceptions, and potential compliance concerns.
Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation in accordance with audit and retention requirements.
Serve as a resource for faculty, staff, administrators, and financial partners on corporate card processes and requirements.
Provide guidance on corporate card policies, procedures, reconciliation requirements, and appropriate card use.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, user experience, and service delivery.
Support process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and finance transformation activities.
Develop and deliver training and educational resources for cardholders, administrators, and stakeholders.
Qualifications / Requirements Post-secondary education in business administration, finance, accounting, or supply chain is preferred. Directly related experience may be considered in place of formal education.




Minimum 3-5 years of related experience in corporate card administration, financial operations, accounts payable, procurement support, banking, card reconciliation, or program administration.
Previous experience administering a corporate card or purchasing card program in a large, complex organization is required.
Previous experience using an expense management tool or corporate card administration system is required.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Sound understanding of financial controls, compliance requirements, and policy application.
Proficiency with ERP systems, financial applications, and reporting tools; PeopleSoft experience is an asset.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to develop procedures, training materials, and communications for diverse audiences.
