Step into the role of Laboratory Manager within Western University's WAMF Nanofabrication Facility. Your management expertise will enhance operational efficiency and safety practices.

In this in-person position, you will ensure the smooth functioning of the Western Advanced Materials Foundry. As a Laboratory Manager, you will support laboratory users with training and guidance while monitoring safety and cleanliness. You will also handle inventory and assist in resolving any laboratory-related challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety standards
• Manage the laboratory’s supply inventory and financial monitoring
• Train and support staff and students in operational procedures




• Create and implement effective laboratory protocols
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain a safe environment

Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in a relevant scientific discipline
• Minimum of 3 years in a laboratory research role
• Proven experience with specialized equipment and instrumentation
• Solid organizational and communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
