St Barbara is hiring Mill Operators for its Atlantic Operations at the Touquoy mine site in Nova Scotia. This full-time role emphasizes effective mill circuit operations and safety practices.
We are currently looking for 16 skilled Mill Operators to join our team. Located about an hour northeast of Halifax, this position requires solid teamwork and problem-solving skills alongside efficient operation of mill processes. A Class 5 driver’s license is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate mill circuits to meet production goals
• Conduct routine checks and document findings
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment
• Offer training and support to junior staff
• Collaborate with maintenance for equipment efficiency
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Nova Scotia High School Diploma or equivalent
• Capability to tackle complex problems
• Proficiency in using computers and software
• Experience in industrial settings or gold processing
