This full-time, permanent position involves spearheading policies aimed at reducing animal suffering. As a research-driven leader, you’ll be responsible for monitoring welfare trends and developing strategic goals that align with the organization’s mission. Your role includes collaborating with various stakeholders and providing unmatched support to animal welfare projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead planning and implementation of welfare policies
• Engage with animal welfare scientists and organizations
• Prepare reports and briefings based on research
• Coordinate with advocacy teams for outreach campaigns
• Represent BC SPCA at community events
Requirements:
• Graduate-level degree in animal welfare sciences
• At least eight years of relevant experience
• Robust project management and relationship-building skills
• Expertise in public speaking and communication
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
