Floor Manager ? Butchie?sFull-Time | 5 Days per Week | 12:00 PM?8:00 PM Weekends are mandatoryButchie?s is looking for an experienced, hands-on Floor Manager to lead our front-of-house team and oversee the day-to-day operation of the restaurant.This is not a desk job. We need someone who is present on the floor, organized, accountable and comfortable taking ownership of service, staff, inventory and ordering.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily front-of-house service
- Manage servers, cashiers, runners and support staff
- Maintain strong standards for hospitality, cleanliness and organization
- Delegate tasks and ensure they are completed
- Manage breaks, sections and staff positioning throughout service
- Handle guest concerns professionally and confidently
- Ensure staff are knowledgeable about the menu, specials and beverage offerings
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and management team
- Coach staff and address performance issues when necessary
- Complete and maintain daily and weekly inventory counts
- Monitor product levels, usage and shortages
- Complete FOH, beverage, alcohol, paper product and operating-supply ordering
- Ensure orders are placed accurately and on time
- Receive deliveries, verify invoices and identify discrepancies
- Monitor waste, over-ordering and unnecessary product usage
- Ensure the restaurant is properly stocked and prepared for upcoming service
- Maintain organized inventory, storage and ordering systems
Requirements
- Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience is required
- Previous inventory management and ordering experience is required
- Robust understanding of restaurant operations and product control
- Excellent customer-service and hospitality skills
- Confident leadership and ability to hold staff accountable
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable managing high-volume service
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Smart Serve certified
- Must be available weekends
