Become a vital member of the Child and Youth Mental Health team at North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services in Timmins as a Registered Clinician. This full time role entails providing psychotherapy and assessments for youth and families in need.
As a clinician, you will engage with children and adolescents up to 18 years old, delivering counseling, support, and clinical assessments to address their emotional and behavioral needs. Working effectively within a multi-disciplinary team, your innovative and resourceful approaches will help bring positive outcomes for families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychotherapy and counseling for children and families
• Perform clinical assessments to outline health needs
• Collaborate effectively with other health professionals
• Develop creative solutions for mental health challenges
• Maintain registration with relevant Ontario college bodies
Requirements:
• Preferred Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
• Must be registered with an Ontario professional college
• Bilingual proficiency required in English and French
• Hold a G2 license with willingness to obtain a G license
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
