Tundra Oil & Gas is seeking an Instrumentation Technician who will report to the Instrumentation Coordinator. This position is vital in the monitoring, installation, and repair of various instruments and control systems within the oil and gas sector. Your expertise in instrument maintenance and familiarity with PLCs and HMIs will ensure optimal equipment performance while participating in facility upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and evaluate technology and field instruments
• Oversee installation and servicing of control systems
• Perform repairs and operational checks on equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose process issues
• Optimize equipment performance and provide recommendations
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Instrumentation Technician Trade Certificate preferred
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is an asset
• Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and communication protocols
