We are seeking a Pipefitter Foreperson for the Integrated Constructors at the Cenovus Birch Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant in Conklin, Alberta. This role involves directing work for pipefitters, mentoring apprentices, and interpreting technical plans. Key duties include overseeing the installation and maintenance of process piping and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assign daily tasks to pipefitters and mentor apprentices
• Interpret isometric drawings and P&IDs; for projects
• Supervise the installation of valves and piping systems
• Implement safety measures in confined spaces
• Handle PVC and small-bore HDPE pipe installations
Requirements:
• CSTS 2020 with WHMIS
• H2S Alive certification required
• ESC Confined Space training
• Inter-Provincial Red Seal Certification is essential
• Must be authorized to work in Canada
