Key tasks include preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supervising accounting staff. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct bank reconciliations and prepare financial reports
• Collaborate on year-end closing with accounting staff
• Handle payroll and government filing duties
• Monitor GIC investments and cash flows
• Develop accounting policies and internal controls
Requirements:
• CPA designation and active registration with CPAO
• Minimum seven years accounting experience required
• At least three years in a supervisory role
• Expertise with Sage 50 and Sage 300 essential
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office 365
