This position involves completing preventative maintenance on buses at various SOUTHLAND yards. You will have the prospect to diagnose equipment issues, perform seasonal maintenance, and keep thorough documentation of repairs. This role operates from Monday to Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct ongoing maintenance and repairs on buses
• Travel between yards for preventative maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical problems effectively
• Perform spring and winter maintenance tasks
• Complete all documentation related to repairs
Requirements:
• Valid Journeyperson Ticket or relevant apprenticeship
• Own necessary hand tools for the job
• 2 to 5 years of related experience
• Computer proficiency for diagnostic tools
• Valid driver’s license, class 2 or 3 preferred
