This role at AMD’s full custom IC layout group focuses on developing layouts for both digital and analog circuits. A successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in 2D layout and a strong understanding of CMOS technology. Responsibilities extend from designing layouts for critical components to hands-on verification tasks using industry-leading tools.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design layout for essential analog building blocks
• Create input/output pads and power pads using designed blocks
• Develop blackbox models for design flow
• Conduct layout verification using Cadence and Calibre

Requirements:
• 2-5 years of experience in layout design
• Comprehensive understanding of CMOS circuit theory
• Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso and Mentor Calibre
• Excellent communication of design specifications
• Familiarity with chip-level integration and ESD
