FOMSS in Whitehorse, Yukon, seeks a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to ensure operational excellence for a range of resort machinery and vehicles. Join a dynamic team dedicated to winter and summer sports.

In this full time role, you will maintain equipment vital to the resort's operations, including chairlifts and snowmobiles. Reporting to the Operations Manager, your commitment to safety and maintenance will benefit recreational skiers and mountain bikers alike.

Key Responsibilities:
• Repair snowcats and side-by-sides to ensure functionality
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
• Keep accurate maintenance and repair documentation
• Maintain safety compliance and workshop organization
• Assist in the setup and decommissioning of seasonal equipment

Requirements:
• Proven experience with maintenance of heavy equipment
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required
• Ability to work flexible hours including some weekends
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors
