You will work closely with the Head Stage Carpenter, managing setup and maintenance of productions while fostering a collaborative setting. This role demands robust leadership skills to supervise stage crews, enforce safety protocols, and execute technical needs with precision. Your expertise will directly impact the quality of performances at this prestigious theatre.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee production setup, maintenance, and breakdown
• Collaborate with Stage Management and Designers for seamless execution
• Coordinate and schedule technical aspects of productions
• Participate actively as part of running crews during events
• Guide and monitor crews in task execution and safety
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in professional theatre
• Expertise in rigging and safe fly system operation
• Ability to interpret and execute technical drawings
• Capable of assembling and maintaining scenery efficiently
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
