This role focuses on providing critical support to youth aged 12–24 who may be involved in gang activities or facing criminal charges. Your work will involve engaging directly with young people in schools and community settings while leveraging resources to guide them toward stability. As part of a dedicated team, you will be instrumental in changing lives one relationship at a time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with youth in schools, community spaces, and detention
• Develop individualized success plans through assessments
• Facilitate connections to vital community services
• Support youths' transitions back to community life
• Educate on gang prevention and healthy choices
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
• Relevant case management experience
• Proficiency in Arabic or Somali preferred
• Right to work in Canada
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
