Step into the role of a CNC Boring Mill Technician at Collins Aerospace in Oakville, Ontario, responsible for the precision manufacturing of aircraft parts. This onsite position operates on the Weekend Day shift, allowing you to utilize your technical skills effectively.
Reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor, you will handle CNC set-ups and adjustments, ensuring high-quality output while maintaining strict tolerances. Engage in documentation practices and participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute manual CNC set-ups guided by programming language
• Adjust machines during operations and perform self-inspections
• Maintain quality logs and address machining discrepancies
• Work from detailed manufacturing and setup sheets
• Engage in continuous improvement and development activities
Requirements:
• High school diploma with 3 years in Boring Mill machining
• Experience with measuring tools and blueprints
• Must be eligible to work in Canada per ITAR regulations
• Preferable experience with 5 Axis Machining
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
