Elevate your accounting career at Sienna as an Accountant in Markham, Ontario. This role focuses on financial statement preparation, journal posting, and collaboration with finance departments.

In this role, you will report directly to the Manager of Operations Finance and be integral in preparing comprehensive monthly financial reports for various business units. You will ensure compliance with record-keeping policies and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information as you assist in monthly reconciliations and audits.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and archive monthly financial accounts and records
• Review accruals and ensure accurate data reporting
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and resident data




• Support services across various business units
• Prepare quarterly working papers for audits

Requirements:
• Education in Finance, Business, or Commerce
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ general accounting experience
• Working towards Chartered Qualified Accounting designation preferred
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous
• Required on-site presence 5 days a week
