The Pharos Data & Analytics team at RBC is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to guide a squad of engineers and enhance our data platform. Your role includes mentoring, driving technical direction, and delivering high-impact data products. You will work closely with stakeholders to align our roadmap with business values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a squad of data engineers to drive project delivery
• Collaborate to prioritize and manage the backlog efficiently
• Deliver data products from design to production support
• Design scalable batch and streaming data pipelines
• Optimize data pipeline performance for reliability and cost
Requirements:
• 6+ years of hands-on data engineering experience
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark for production code
• Experience with Databricks and SQL optimization
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Azure
• Background in Terraform for managing infrastructure
