Join NTPC as a Powerline Technician based in Hay River, NT, focusing on transmission and distribution systems. This position includes relocation support and requires a Journeyperson certification.

In this integral role, you will be involved in hands-on construction and maintenance of electrical distribution systems throughout the South Slave. Your responsibilities will include performing repairs after failures, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring the safety of work practices in compliance with established regulations. Collaboration with other trades will also be a key part of your daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
• Follow all NTPC safety protocols
• Identify and resolve power system disturbances
• Replace and repair power lines effectively




• Construct both single and three-phase lines
• Conduct routine maintenance on substations

Requirements:
• Certification as a Journeyperson Power Lineperson required
• At least five years of applicable experience
• Class 3 driver’s license with air brake endorsement
• Familiarity with specialized electrical equipment
• Willingness to travel for work across regions
